Medical Weight Loss & Management Program

The following two packages are designed to diagnose and treat weight related diseases, help you with your weight loss, prevent future weight gain and maintain a healthy lifestyle.  They are ideally suited to individuals who have been diagnosed with a weight related disease  or are likely to have such a diagnoses due to their weight.

The Gold Package starts at $600 a month.  The Platinum Package starts at $800 a month.

If the program is continued after the first month, aspects of the program may be changed to help you reach your optimal results.  Any change in your specific program will be discussed to you prior to the change occuring. The Medical Weight Management Programs (including additional services) are not covered by insurance.  However,  they may be considered qualifed medical expenses that are reimbursable through your FSA/HRA/HSA/MSA.  Medical consults included in the weight management programs are consults related to weight only. They are not regular office visits. As a participant in any of our weight management programs, you may keep your own primary care physician and are not required to become a patient of avecinia wellness center.  If you are currently a patient of avecinia wellness center, other health issues and concerns will require a separate appointment.  Weight loss is not guaranteed.  Your full participation and dedication to the program is required. HSAs and Medical Weight Management Programs If you have an HSA, HRA, FSA or MSA, our Medical Weight Management program may qualify as a reimburseable medical expense. Generally, our Medical Weight Management program is designed to help treat your weight related diseases such as obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes and/or hypertension.  As such, the program may quaily under IRS  PUB 502 as a deductible medical expense.  If you have an HSA, HRA, FSA or MSA, please check with your benefits director or  insurance broker to see if our weight management program, as used to  treat your weight related disease, may be an eligible expense.  You may also check insurance plans to see if your high deductible plan qualifies you for an HSA by checking your insurer’s website by clicking  list of insurance plans accepted by avecinia wellness center.
